About Me
Courtney McGuigan, MSN, APRN, CRNA
Courtney McGuigan is a board-certified Nurse Anesthetist, an APRN, and founder of The Well, where she integrates the science of modern medicine with the art of healing. She is certified in Functional Medicine and has over 20 years experience in clinical healthcare.
Courtney’s background includes working in the ICU at NYU before obtaining her Masters Degree in Anesthesia at Northeastern University. She then worked for almost 15 years as a CRNA providing anesthesia at Yale, specializing in endocrine surgery, pediatrics and labor and delivery. In 2019, Courtney presented her research on a case study at the SOAP (Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology) Annual Conference and was chosen as one of the top 10 reports in the country.
Today, her focus is in root-cause medicine and whole-person wellness. Courtney specializes in hormone optimization, thyroid health, fertility and nutrition. She has advancing her training in hormone optimization and peptide therapy, and plans to offer expanded support using cutting edge, evidence based research.
At The Well, she provides comprehensive evaluations including advanced lab work, genetic and gut health testing, and customized treatment plans featuring bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, medical weight management, and IV nutrient support.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find her loving on her 4 children, laughing with her husband, nourishing deep friendships, moving her body, creating something (painting, embroidering, sourdough, babies) and always exhibiting the lifestyle she encourages for her patients.
